Why clinic phones go unanswered
Reception is often busy with a patient at the desk while the phone rings. The caller waits, then tries another clinic.
What callers want
Most calls are simple: book, move or cancel an appointment, or ask about opening hours.
What must go to staff
Anything clinical or urgent goes to a person on your team. Novi does not give medical advice and does not judge urgency. If a caller describes an emergency, that call needs a person, and callers should contact emergency services.
Privacy: what to ask any vendor
Where is call data kept, who can see it, how long is it kept, and are recordings optional? Ask for the answers in writing.
How a voice assistant fits
Novi books and changes appointments in your diary and hands everything else to your team. We make no claim about results. See the clinics page and our note on dental and physio clinics. Plans are monthly in US dollars: $249 for 200 calls, $399 for 300 calls or $499 for 500 calls, plus a one-off $250 set-up fee. See the pricing page for what every plan includes.
